Medical Claims Management was founded in Boston Massachusetts in March of 1993 with the goal of helping providers maximize their reimbursement. The idea was that we would support quality healthcare by making sure providers were properly reimbursed for their work.
In forming the business, we gathered extensive information from physicians, medical facilities, billing professionals, insurance companies, and healthcare regulators in order to gain insight into the technically complex and ever-changing reimbursement procedures that can cause medical providers to lose revenue. We discovered that many providers were not collecting what they should because they relied on outdated billing systems, inefficient work procedures, and insufficiently trained employees.
We reviewed numerous practice management systems, electronic exchange services, and other technologies prior to choosing the most effective tools. We then created a comprehensive billing system designed to take full advantage of the efficiencies inherent in our new software and hardware. Most importantly, we employed highly capable people who manage the overall billing process with care and dedication.
Managing reimbursement over time has given us valuable experience, allowing us to make continued improvements along the way. The healthcare industry continues to evolve at a furious pace and we monitor changes that affect the billing process. Something that hasn't changed is our commitment to making sure our customers are properly reimbursed.
